completely different Mikeys. yet, for the first time ever, or at least in a long long time.. both were in the same stadium Saturday for the newly named Marbles Cup. And wow.. the earth is still rotating on its axis, the moon still appears at night.. and sun was way too damn bright Sunday morning. See the Battery next year from the Marbles Cup.. in our place!

And I ditto what FFF said... Congrats to the Battery, you were the better team Saturday night.

Hey Mikeyrattdog, great to finally meet you and GSTerp in person since I've been virtual hating on you both for 10+ years!! (even if Terpboy is in the Kicker's Witness Protection Program). If you need to deny that you broke bread with us at the tailgate, just claim you were never in Charleston.....we simply photoshop'ed you in! Works like a charm.

Hey Bribey-- Great photos! Who's the guy in the yellow polo that looks like Brad Pitt? Who's the guy holding the tongs (not thongs)? He looks dangerous. Even Buck was there! You had all the VIPs out for this one. It brings back some good memories -- well what I can remember anyway... GO BATTERY!!!

Congratulations from Portland to both teams, both cities, both sets of fans for great seasons and a great game.

And of course to the Battery on taking the title. Not an easy task protecting the lead for that long with only 10 men, but I'm sure it makes the win a bit more sweet.
