Good Internet search, I'm betting the Red Wings, from Rochester were the first team that showed up when you Goggled "Pro Teams, Travel"?
Rochester Red Wings... lol... I get it, another pro team with stuff very similar to the Stars, right???
You had to go all the way to NY to find them?
Last time I looked in the newspaper about upcoming sporting events they weren't listed, but then again I don't get the Rochester Times.
Where do the woman's BB team the MN Lynx travel to,
Atlanta
Tulsa
Chicago
New York
Washington
Connecticut
Phoenix
Indiana
Los Angles
Seattle
WNBA is a ten team league that knows they are not the top attraction in their sport. And yet, they don't think on a regional level? Humm... Why?
But then again you may be right, after all they're only a model of a non first level/gender team in a league hoping to draw 10-15,000 local fans. I'm guessing the Red Wings are much closer to the Stars in their young league's planning and goals.

I can't wait to see how many people the NSC MN Stars vs the Des Moines Menace draws... It would kind of be all the best players that are within driving distance to Blaine, I see the marketing advantage to that, it would be down right easy to sell that league sponsorship because the market is soooo big.
