They would not have to send all that money in Div 2, but just use it as a bond guaranteeing stability for the team. Then the team could start playing in div 2 in 2011 at a much cheaper cost and be ready for a MLS start up in 2014...
That way they could all buy an MLS team together and keep playing for a few more years after 2014. They would not even need to be their own teams DP because they could get their profit payment through the successful marketing they would provide for their team. Add in three new DPs and you might just have one of the most exciting teams in MLS to watch walk around on the pitch all night long...
