Final road game of the season unless the Battery really slip up.

Andrew Miller has a pretty good preview on his blog "Battery Shots"

http://www.postandcourier.com/blogs/battery/?plckController=Blog&plckBlogPage=BlogViewPost&UID=74922233-55a1-4368-a727-5547c9c0d28d&plckPostId=Blog%3a74922233-55a1-4368-a727-5547c9c0d28dPost%3a9b9e25dd-6528-4cb8-ab11-a3c7de8d1f5d&plckScript=blogScript&plckElementId=blogDest

summary says Neagle is out due to yellow card accumilation, Armstong (back), Nunes (foot), fuller(hamstring) are out as well. Falvey (hip felxor) is quesitonable but probably wont play but it looks like Wilson will be back.

Also has a look at potential make up of the USL2 next year and mentions the fact that the Battery are "looking into" the new USL I- league.

Also the goal celebrations Andrew has been posting on his blog have been great, check out the clebration at the link above. pretty impressive for a "football" player!

Your Battery lead the series, 2-0-1, with the 'Hounds. We need a win to clinch the final playoff spot and hopefully we have a good turnout tonight. My instincts tell me we may end up backing into the post-season, but we will come out ready. It will be a tough game, since you are the league-leaders. I'm hoping for an upset, since we tied Harrisburg and you got a point in Charlotte.

could happen, but wouldnt call it an upset. the boys weren't playing full on in charlotte, surface up there is terrible and no one wants to get hurt at this point in the season. We also have several players injuried or on the road to recovery. I wouldnt expect to see them play. as it doesnt seem to be worth the risk of exasperating their injuries. on top of it all Neagle our leading scorer, is out due to yellow card accumilation.

Still I know the boys want to get it done and would love to go straight to the final and hosting it here. I would expect them to defend and sit back and look for a counter attack. which could work in our favor. the Hounds need the win and likely will be pushing forward right out of the gate. expect Tommy Heinemann to be a target tonight from several long balls. wont be pretty im sure but hopefully it gets the job done

Richmond recently added a few players onloan to bolster their team, Chris Carrieri has been added as have Joseph Kabwe and Ty Shipalane (who wears his shorts backwards on purpose) have been added as possible on-loan players from the Carolina RailHawks.

will be listening tonight online

The Battery put up a good fight but glad to see that WE GOT IT DONE!!
I sat next to Andrew Bell in the press box and we talked a bit before he did the game.

How do you qualify to get in the press box ? The stuff you copy & paste cannot be counted as journalism.

NOT a criticism KC. Honestly. But instead of linking to the main photobucket page, then making people search for your GTS page there. (your instructions are wrong by the way). Why not just link to your page to begin with and make things easier for your readers?. Now, about the wrong instructions. You said type in GTS2 in the login it. I do that, and it asks me for your password. Which, no one but YOU should know. If you enter gts2 in "search" you get pictures of cars, not soccer. But if you would just link to the your site to begin with, instead of the main photobucket page, that wouldn't be an issue. Again, I'm not picking on you and its not a criticism , but trying to make things easier for you and for people who want to see your pix.

Thanks, Mikey, I take that as a thought-provoking idea. I added both sights because mine I only put two of my pages and I added the rest to Photobucket.
As far as photo, I've tried that and I only needed my id, without using my password, which is why I instructed that way. Don't know why a password would be needed.

Its probably remembered on your computer. The rest of us still need either a password or preferably a direct link to see the pictures.

a password would be needed because when you put gts2 in Login, what you're (and the people trying to view those pix) is telling photobucket to do is login to your site, not view it. When you login to photobucket, or any other site) you have the ability to add/delete/modify/label pictures and such. You don't want the general public to do that, and we don't need to do that. We just need to view. I did a search and this is the URL you should give to people http://s893.photobucket.com/home/gts2 I didn't make that a link, so you can copy & paste into your own threads if you like.

I still can't figure out how after all these years of having a website he has never learned how to do a direct link.

Thanks, Mikey. I've seen others post that they have pictures in Photobucket and their viewers were able to see their photos without a password(which I was able to do as well). I fail to understand why anyone would need a password when all I have to do is type in my username.

And Fred, I can do direct links. I use Photobucket because my site does not have enuff room for all my pictures;

I don't know how to copy and paste(my pc does not let me, and don't get on me for that) and for whatever reason, my link does not work, though I typed it the way Mikey did. I guess anyone who wants to view, use the link he provided(thanks again).

Huh? What does using photobucket have to do with giving people direct links??

if you don't know how to copy and paste, then how do you know that your pc does not let you do it?
But that proves what you wrote above to be wrong - you don't provide direct links because you have no idea how to do so - you just said so yourself. Actually, from previous statements, I don't think you even know what a direct link is

As far as the direct link to your photos that Ratt posted, you did not type it exactly like he did. It's "http:" you typed "http;".

highlight the text you want to copy (hold down your LEFT mouse button then drag the cursor over the text you want to copy) when you get to the end of what you want to copy click your RIGHT mouse button and click COPY from the menu that appears. Tap the left mouse button once to deactivate select and activate your cursor. Then simply put the cursor where you want to paste the copied text to, right click to bring up the menu and click paste and you're done.
