I wonder if this will be the patch on the side of the uniform sleeves this season.

Hadn't thought about that but I would expect that you are correct.

It sure beats this emblem. Not saying anything specifically against USL, just their logo, which I have said here before, looks like a rec youth soccer clubs logo.

Can we stop with the flying soccer balls already!

Are you referring to the flaming soccer ball in the USL logo or the or the flying soccer ball in the US Soccer logo?

I heard there will be no league patch on any of the uniforms this season.

Colbalt blue and Sunshine yellow...I like this ok. I would have liked to see yellow as the home shirt. If I by any gear or jerseys I think it will be yellow for me.

I like the colors, but am having trouble with one use of the name:
I like "NSC Minnesota" or "the Stars" even, but not "NSC Stars."
Not sure why, but it annoys me.

C'mon people, the correct pronunciation has been decided. Nessy MN Stars, or Nessy Monsters. As in, I'm going to go drink some beers and watch the Nessy Monsters destroy some poor soccer team, preferably a Milwaukee based team.

Totally splitting hairs here, but if the Nessy thing takes off, I kind of like the thought of referring to them as a singular monster (more cohesive). Did you see the Monster destroy Milwaukee?

I like the way JJE thinks. The correct pronunciation has been decided. Nessy will soon become the mascot (after all, there is a facebook group a couple dozen strong right now) and before we know it everyone will be afraid to take on the Nessy Lake Monster in 2010.

What do you mean if this thing takes off? The plane is already cruising at 20,000feet.

Oh, for what it is worth, the lake monster that destroyed Milwaukee was Nessy's cousin, Godzilla.
