I'm not sure I'm entirely sold on Nessy, although I am one of the couple dozen strong... but I do like the idea of an absurd mascot... like moonbeam the martian or something of that stature, so Nessy fits.... what about big foot? or Bjorn the fur trapper?

I haven't seen where each part of this Nessy thing took off, but the addition of "The Believers" and "We Believe" is simply hilarious and fantastic. To me, that's exactly where a team name comes from--the bizarre non sequiturs of the fans. Great work.

I'm kinda surprised...
that all those supporters of the "Northstar FC" haven't decided to stake out a section of the north side of the stadium and call themselves "The North Stars". Kinda follows, duznit.
As for the anthem/s, I renominate ( for "The Believers" who say, "We Believe"):
