im curious as to what jw7s opinion is on all this. and how the snow is in utah.

My opinion is that soccer is a European sport where beer is served.

*When in Rome, do as the Romans do... and have a beer as you watch the game.

*When in Salt Lake do as the Salt Lakens do and go skiing with your new MLS trophy.

I guess it's time to start thinking about a coach. Any thoughts on who might be on the radar? Will Manny lead that process?

I'm disappointed the ole Salty Dog Laurie Calloway took the Des Monies Mennace job.

No idea on the coach.

But, the first players that need to be signed by Teatotaling FC is:

1. Dale Weiler
2. Nick Platter
3. John Greenfield
4. Marco Terminisi

We also need a coach that is willing to try new things from time to time. I also expect that, judging by the excitement, this team will be extremely popular with students at my current place of employment.

Conversation yesterday:

Student: What the hell is that shirt?
Me: It is a Minnesota Thunder shirt.

Me: The pro soccer team.
