Alright, I know many of you are still depressed, saddened, and furious over the demise of our beloved Thunder. I expect many will always feel like a piece of their heart was ripped out. Personally, I have come to terms with the disaster and am ready to move on, but I understand if others are hesitant.
For those willing to give a shot to the new team at the NSC we should talk here about what we would like to see from the organization and our own members.
Here is what I want to see (don't get angry about the order of my list, it is just a brainstorm): 1) Tickets taken at the North End 2) Porta Johns behind the beer garden 3) Improved play on the field
I also think that the "Dark Cloud" moniker be kept as it has history and like mentioned at the Town Hall a few nights back many groups have kept old names and identities despite a changing of the guard.
Other thoughts?

Alright, I know many of you are still depressed, saddened, and furious over the demise of our beloved Thunder. I expect many will always feel like a piece of their heart was ripped out. I've only been here for a little more than 2 seasons, but loved the Thunder to an unreasonable extent. I'm past the furious part but still a little sad and depressed. I'll get over that as the season approaches and I have a new team to get excited about. That said, I'd like a team with a decent name and logo and improved restroom facilities. It's a LONG walk for the fans seated in the far side bleachers... (not that I spend time there, but I think more people would sit over there, or return to more games, if there were restrooms closer.) I'm not as tied to the Dark Clouds name. If we're starting a new team, and a different supporters group name makes more sense, I wouldn't be against a change. Oh yeah, and a scoreboard that we wouldn't be ashamed of would be nice...

Although name and logo are seemingly secondary, the ability to sell gear is an important revenue stream when attendance is not going to pay the bills. You are precisely correct regarding the long walk. My wife enjoys the front row of the far side bleachers because it is so close to the pitch, but unless the Schwans building is open for us to sneak the children into for restroom breaks we miss significant parts walking to and fro.

Right now I would like a team. That is the extent of my wish list at the moment.
With that said, any increased restroom capacity at the NSC would be a good thing. That's about where I'm at. But as long as we're discussing restrooms, if the NSC can see their way to also throwing a diaper changing station into the existing restrooms under the main stand, that would be nice. As for team colors, I've always felt that beige was under-utilized in professional sports uniforms generally.
