Last week I had no problems. The last couple of days are very bad, it takes over one minute every time a page tries to load, very frustrating...

Are you saying I have to disable the cookies every time I visit this site?
Why is that not then just part of the log in?

Why is it taking so long to load pages. I tried the cookie thing and at first it worked and the pages loaded fast again.
Now when I go to disable the cookies it logs me back off, and I have to log back on again.

Computers are going to be great... Someday!

I have noticed everything (on the web) is slow lately, but have not seen anything specific to the boards. I have not done anything else with the site. I'll pose a question to the support folks at the ISP and see if they see anything.

OK, I just got done talking with tech support, and they say everything looks fine. I will include the chat contents below, but will also be checking with the programmers at ubbthreads to see if there is anything we can tune to aid in performance, though as the chat thread below says, all looks like it is performing great.

Dan: I have been doing some looking around and reading posts and it seems fine to me, but like I said, I have had questions from multiple users. I did not know if there was something that needed to be better tuned for PHP/mySql performance or not.
Dan: Is there anything I can look at to see what the performance looks like when users ask ?
Dan: I know I don't have access to things like 'top' in this environment, but wanted to ask.
Ryan: You could run the "ps aux" command via the command line on the server to see what your account is using. Unfortunately you wouldn't have access to the top command on the server or the full server statistics.
Dan: I had one user email just a few minutes ago about performance saying it was taking up to 1 minute to go between pages.
Ryan: I am watching the server load and it looks fine from here. Do the developers recommend any changes or tweaks for their programs.
Dan: I will go back and check again for specifics, but in my initial investigation there was only a general reference to being tuned for mysql & PHP.
Dan: If what you are seeing so far looks fine, that's all I can ask for right now.

Dan - not sure what if anything you may have done, but it seems much faster for me this morning.

Over 5 minutes from when I clicked on this site, logged in, Opened this thread and then waited to read this. I did not do the cookie thing yet... Because I don't have enough time to wait for it...
