i live in Durham, NC - I used to live just outside of Manchester, England and watched a lot of soccer games - ManU Liverpool Everton Man City Wigan Bolton Preston etc.
(Manchester United - EPL Champions! - YES!!!! - sit down Mourinho!!!)

i have only seen 2 railhawks games (inaugural & chivas) - i will be at the charlston derby match.

my observations from just 2 matches:
I am suprised at how stong this new team looks - wins are bound to come as the season progresses. Within a few seasons, if they make good progress(which i feel they will do) - they will be good enough to take on most MLS teams.( i wonder if they will be considered/invited into the MLS)?

the players i have listed below have been the one's who have stood out from the rest(very good players who should be picked for every game).
i have not seen enough games yet to identify others - your thoughts on Scott's best line-up.

MAHER(strong tall & fiesty - eye for goal)
WORTHEN(same as above)
STEELE(skillful midfield - accurate long passer)
NORKUS(intelligent hard working defender)
McCLELLAN(tall - agile - confident goalkeeper)

It will be interesting to see Scotty's selection tonight. I think Maher and Long won starting positions with their performances against Chivas. I'm thinking we'll look like this:

============McClellan==============
Sanfilippo==Stokes==Dombrowski==Norkus
Carrieri====Low====Long====Worthen====
==========Edozien============
==========Maher==============

I think Steele is probably still hurt frown

BTW, tiddi, welcome to the forum. You may also be interested in the mailing list at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/trisoccerfan if you haven't found it already.
