I'd be interested in knowing if the attendance for that P.R. game was anything like the opener. Anyone on the island have numbers? The Islanders have not scored yet, but they will. www.soccersheet.com (Covering the hounds and Sparks)

www.soccersheet.com (Covering the hounds and Sparks) Attendance was about the same as the opener with maybe just a tad less but not by much. I say the opener had about 6.3k and todays was about 5.5k. The papers say there were 8k first game and supposedly 8.7k today (shrug). Again, I suppose its by tickets sold but I am judging by how full the baseball stadium was as it holds 16k if I am not mistaken. In any case both PR home games have had at least half the stadium seats full if not a tad less.

Thanks, M.M. It's early yet but it sounds good. I hope it continues. www.soccersheet.com (Covering the hounds and Sparks)

The Ramon Loubrel Stadium capacity is 12,000, and the average attedance of the few games is 8,000 is a very good to a baseball stadium, now a soccer stadium

The only Canadians to ever die in a heat wave were the ones that drowned when their Igloos melted.

I mean, 'your at home - the heat will confuse the Canadians' isn't exactly a some sort of attack on the Canadian character, it's just a really dumb joke.

Hey no worries here, thats why I never responded to his last comment. It's especially funny considering I'm sitting here sweating like a pig, sunburned face from last weekend, not a cloud in the sky and only one bad day forecast all of this week. Perfect weather for the Whitecaps season opening game for this Friday. Shame it's not being played next monday, the weather network is calling for a high of 86.
