harrisburg are out of the open cup and pittsburgh are in, after the hounds beat cincy 2-0. Harrisburg had easily the hardest qualifying schedule, having to play charlotte (arguably the best team in the league) twice. That is unfair, and whoever puts together the schedules should see that. there has to be a better, fairer way to qualify!

Yeah, who wouldn't want Northern Virginia in the first month? My feeling is it should be the top 4 from last season in the second round and 5&6 from last year in the first round. It would at least give a better indication of who deserves being in the cup.

I have said all along that all teams should be allowed to enter the cup if it is truly open.

All teams are in it, to start out. That's why they call in the qualifying round.
