Man! CPB players were telling me that Harrisburg lost 1-0. Our players and management were thinking that we picked up points and still had a chance to make the playoffs. They are probably still at the post game restaurant thinking that we got the result that we needed. Oh yeah-phbair--like middie said--congrats.

Thanks, Yankiboy. According to the standings in our local paper this morning, CPB is not yet eliminated, although it looks likely. That's tough, because you gave us some good matches, and will again, I expect.
The City Islanders are really hitting their stride right now. We have a hot keeper, a forward (Ombiji) who seems to make something good happen every time he touches the ball, a game in-game out steady mid (Oduor), and a very stout, stingy defense. I could go on, but man-for-man, they just outperformed Richmond last night. Even on our smallish pitch, they played possession football to perfection.
Hope they can keep it up. Tough road trip to Ohio coming up this week with Cleveland Friday and Cincinnati Saturday. C U on the Island August 11th!

I should not have to say this, but I think you forgot someone, phbair. Oh, nevermind. Maybe I should root for Cincinnati when Harrisburg visits there this coming weekend.
