Glad to see you all picked up former VB Mariner's goalie Matt Nelson!

That will give the City Islanders 3 very good keepers.

Kern has been the starter the last 2 seasons, Bishop has played most of this preseason and now a USLD1 keeper in Nelson.

Should be interesting.

Nelson played well in the home opener. He let in the goal early on, but it was not his fault. Defensive error led to the opportunity and the guy had a nice finish.

He also played great in the 1-0 win over Penn State in the mini tourney in the Hersheypark stadium.
