I agree, the islanders have been playing well without getting results. They outplayed charlotte at home, but somehow got beat 3-1. They have a talented team. the addition of Sumed Ibrahim from Chicago Fire has helped. Harrisburg have the best midfield i the league...Odour, Potteiger, Schofield, and Ibrahim

thanks usasoc, but i would have to disagree with u there. Last season the hounds were a good team, probably the best team in D2, but they are not the same team this year after losing a couple of key players. They are definately not a better team than harrisburg this year!

I agree they are not last year's team, we have a few players that have left for other teams and I think that has hurt us. But regardless of how we ended last season, I feel we did have the best team in the league, with respect to Charlotte (who we beat twice). Unfortunately, after we lost in Utah, we got ignored.
From what I've seen of the City Islanders, I'm glad to see you doing well attendance wise, but they are struggling(2-3), as are our hounds. But it is a very competitive game when the hounds and City Isles meet. I guess we shall see, when June 22nd comes(the first of two back to back here).

Having seen both the Kings & the Islanders this season, I would have to say the Kings would be favourites for me. ( Yes with the U as I use English & not American words !! )

the islanders record is deceiving. they are 2-3-1 coz they have gone thru a tough stretch of games playin charlotte twice and wilmington away. pitt and cincy havent played any of the big guns yet and pitt is already struggling with their record

There record may be deceiving, but their performances against us were not. Islanders worked hard to win 3-0, the Kings did not break sweat winning 5-0.

well Islanders play the Kings next week at Harrisburg, so we'll see. The first time they played it was 0-0, Kings had the better of the play, but Islanders again missed some good chances. However, the Harrisburg team now is much stronger than it was back then. It should be a good one!

Keep in mind, that Harrisburg has this weekend off and layoffs can hurt. Cincinnati has the advantage of playing this weekend.
