Well with Nashville's late season collapse the Spurs have a shot, but only have a one point lead over them. Plus Memphis seems to be playing well and Austin is coming on strong. That game next friday night in Austin will be tough but its a must win. Just gotta hope Memphis loses a game, but they had four goals last night against St. Louis, but I think that Kansas City Brass team they play is pretty tough. AAAAAAHHHH! A win against Louisiana and Austin they would've been in!

Austin has done you in. Not much separating Memphis, Nashville, and Texas. One of two more goals here or there and it would have been a different story for any the three teams.

I enjoyed the very competitive season.

Amazing that the last weekend of the season saw 4 teams fighting for 2nd place. Austin's win against Texas was unexpected and took both teams out of contention (combined with Memphis narrow win at St. Louis).

Nothing like waiting until O-Dark-Thirty to see who goes to the big dance.

I also must say that this has been an enjoyable season on the USL Discussions, many more people than last year and it has been great talking to everyone. Ricardo, you have my vote as newbie of the year, as you are the one that got the MidSouth discussions going again, it has been a blast.

Thanks to all who have posted this year (my teammates in this endeavor). I hope I don't leave anyone out but it has been fun conversing with Fanmaster, J Duly, Ramon, Krenner, PanicFC and others interested in the MidSouth. Hope I didn't leave anyone out. Go ahead and flame me if you feel left out.

Hopefully we can do it next year as long as I don't lose my mind to "old timer's" disease or the pursuit of women and the all mighty dollar (it is the same thing isn't it).
