So how do you think the Spurs will do against New Orleans this weekend? Should be a good close game, but they will need to score a few goals to have a chance. Especially with back to back games down in the southern humidity...and the lure of Bourbon St.

Your last sentence said it all. I know my son is looking forward to seeing NO.

Spurs will have played on Friday nite, so NO will have the fresh legs on Saturday. Be nice to our fans and they will love you for it! We are quite comical at times.

You can never count the Spurs out. They can beat anybody when things go good and it is tough to beat them twice in a row. I doubt they will see Bourbon street until after the game (with a victory celebration).

I wouldn't worry about Houston. (You know it does no good to talk trash about a team when no one from that team will reply. No one from Houston ever posts on this board so I can say the most outlandish things and never get in any trouble.)

I would split the Texas squad into two teams and send the B team to Houston and the A team directly to New Orleans.

No sense in sending the same team only to wear them out in Houston running up and down the field filling the goal up. They wouldn't have anything left for New Orleans. Better to have a fresh squad to face New Orleans than a worn out one.

I know this sounds far fetched but it might work.

My son is Matt, # 12
He will love the interaction with your fans. He hasn't been to NO before so I know he is excited about going. Hopefully you guys are right and they won't go to Bourbon St.until after the game. Otherwise, it will be a pretty ones-sided game.

Back in the days of the Storm, I got Nino DaSilva to shoot the bird at me, the 4th official saw it, and he was cautioned.

The crowd of 1,200 went wild.

Our fans have really put it to the Memphis coach, the Austin coach, and #8 Diego from Austin. We saluted the Houston team since they were good sports.

Our mascot, The Green Burrito, is Jose Puerto. He will probably have a green face, white hair, yellow Shocker t-shirt, and a green lei. Sometimes a multi-colored Indian headress. He has a "Longhorn" that he is good at. You will win him over if you shout his name. His group of fanatics sits behind the Shocker bench. About 30-40 strong. Oh, and they like to drink beer, wave pompoms, throw confetti and streamers, start the wave, and yell at the referee in Spanish.
