Thanks for breaking us in and being gentle. Our girls are playing great soccer right now and are a lot of fun to watch. Now if we can only get anyone from the local media in Indy to realize they are here.

Fc Indiana dominated Cleveland last night at Kuntz Stadium in Indianapolis but did a poor job finishig and came away with a 3-0 victory. If not for an outstanding effort by Cleveland's keeper and FCI's failure to finish some opportunities in the box it could easily have been 7 or 8 to nill. My family and myself had a great time at the game and look forward to the next game in Indy vrs. West Michigan July 1st. If you are in the Indy area and have not seen these girls play I hope you'll get out to see a game. I think any soccer fan would be impressed with the level of play and the talent of these girls.( FCI goals by Julianne Sitch 28th min,Veronica Phewa 46th min, and Laura Del Rio 89th min.)

HELLO! Is this thing on? These girls are playing great soccer.Victories this past week over W.Michigan 10-1 and over a very good Minnesota side 6-0. With a record of 10-00-01 we have one of the top women's teams in the world playing right here in our own back yard. IS ANYBODY OUT THERE?

Good to see, Indy. We used to have the Steel City Sparks, who lasted 3 seasons. Your posts makes me wish we still had them.

Not sure if its a lack of interest or people not knowing about these boards, but none of the W-league teams really get a lot of discussion here. (My guess is that its a combination of both, with the majority being the later). Just look at the front page and the dates of some of the last posts. Speaking personally, I just can't get into womens soccer very much.
Maybe you can spread the word about the boards to people at the games?
But congratulations to your team on a great record smile

Thanks for the reply Fred's First Fan. It's nice to know I'm not just talking to my self on here. I understand women's soccer is not for everyone (I happen to enjoy it very much) but it's all we have here in Indy for now. Not only do we have this team, but they well might be the best team playing at the top level of the women's game in America and they don't get the support they should and they get zero coverage from the joke that is the local media here. It's my hope that if support for FCI grows here we might get a USL1 or USL2 men's team again some day. Thanks again and good luck to your team and to all the teams out there at all levels of the greatest game on earth. Maybe someday America will discover what the rest of the world already knows. There's nothing in the world like soccer.
