...so a former Riverhound and supporter's favorite, the Korean Assassin, has landed in Austin

Is he still with the Hounds? I saw his name on the roster(hounds website) but I also saw on the Austin Aztex website that he had signed with them!

He has definitely signed with the Aztex, as we've seen him in matches as recently as last Friday's Islanders match where he amazed folks with his midfield play. I got a chance to speak with him last night for quite some time, and found him a great guy to talk to. He even got some ribbing for his yellow card tendencies! The team is looking really good this year, but still have quite a bit of development to go through.

Well, we told him that he had a very long way to go to surpass last years yellow card king, Ezzie "The Enforcer" Lewis (our PDL team as we didn't have a USL1 then).

Ryan will be fun to watch though, and I would imagine that the Gaffer (Adrian Heath) is looking to him to be his #10.

Ryan's done really well so far. No yellows, though he did start last Saturday's game with three quick fouls. Then, after getting talked to by the ref, only committed one more through the rest of the game. And was the recipient of a healthy elbow-to-the-face that put the Stars down a man.

But he is #3 on the Fouls Committed table .
