Ok guys, not a bad start really in the friendly...of course we could use more people and more understanding of all the chants but thats what a friendly is for anyways.
So this thread is for all the preparations for the home opener. I think we said to meet up maybe an hour before kickoff so around like 6:30.
I'll create another Facebook Event thing for it and I'll also try to get out and get some fabric for a green and orange striped flag for us.
Anything else for the game just post it here!

Guys remember that the first two home games this season double as US Open Cup qualifiers, so this Saturday and next Saturday in Canton really are huge.
We qualified by the skin of our teeth last year in a 3-3 draw with Ft. Wayne.
A lot of people were impressed with you guys the other night, keep it up.

That is a good little fact to know...means we have to work extra hard to get some more people out so we can make the US Open Cup!
Also Craig...nice one remember 5 teeth, 11 players, 1 dream...their sisters!

That really sucks man, didn't get long to settle back down here in Michigan before you have to move again. Well thanks for the help so far and you got to do what you got to do. We will see you on Saturday for sure!

Hmm I would say I would be interested in it but I think we need all hands on deck for the Herd.
IF there is no one else, maybe i could do it, but I think I'm better use in the stands.

As far as the facebook thing is concerned I think last time it was at like 22, and we all know there was like 7 of us. So if 32 means there are going to be like 12, I'll take it.
I'm going to try to be there as close to 6:30 as possible, I have family that will be over on Saturday but I already told them I have to leave around 6 so as long as I don't get too delayed I'll be there.
I may go check out how much the fabric would cost for a green and orange flag today if I get the time.

I should be there at around 6:45. I'm waiting to hear back from a couple of friends who may or may not be coming, as well.

There will be three of us there at 6:30 in the parking lot! Look forward to meeting all of you and learning some chants. We would have been there last week but our team had a game!

Also, what should we be wearing? Orange and green and/or do they sell Jerseys?

I would say we should stick with Green for this weekend, i don't know what color the Herd tshirts will be but those who bought season tickets should be getting them this weekend.
Look forward to seeing you all there, sounds like we should have a good crowd.

For consideration, after Saturday's game we're talking about going to Applebee's or another nearby restaurant for a post-game gathering (at around 9:45 or so). That will be an opportunity to see how things went, and plan for our next game...plus, review ideas for a webpage for The Herd.
See everyone tomorrow night!

For those who bought season tickets, have you gotten them yet? If not, any idea on what to do at the game? Because I'm still waiting.
Anyway, I look forward to meeting all of you tomorrow. I'll be there sometime after 6:30.

Ya I was thinking about that today...I have no clue what we are doing because I didn't get my tickets yet either. I guess we will find out tomorrow, I'm sure they have a list of who bought the tickets and who didn't though. I look forward to it, and maybe I'll print off a few chant lists!

Wanted to say another good showing last night, the group is really gaining. Sounds like we might have even more in Canton next week. FYI: Here are the Open Cup Qualification Standings: http://usopencup.com/2008qualification/PDL/242319.html We did as much as we could last night seeing as Goal Difference is only good for +/-3 so if you win 4-0 you still only get +3 in those standings. 3 more games to go and they won't be easy, but so far so good.
