Hey,
Could everyone reply to this with what they are for sure brining to the Open Cup. That way we all have an idea.

Whats the deal with:
Food, Drinks, Balloons, Streamers... etc.

I am bringing pop and some chips.

By the way, are we anticipating any of the Cleveland fans joining us for the tailgate?

lol...yea, ok...why the hell are we feeding the ohio people? from what I hear, that whole state needs to be flooded and we should annex cedar pt.

I can bring flags, and if I can figure out where any streamers are, I might be able to get it...I so want to bring the American Flag..that has been missing for awhile

I have streamers...a lot of streamers. I ordered 60 and have about 45-50 left so I will bring those. Did they end up bringing the horns in my absence? Did they work out?

Andrew, I think they have 3 of them set aside for you, since you're a season ticket holder. Check in at the front when you get to the game tomorrow.

Ya they didn't have the horns at the last game, but its good we got streamers thats gona help. I spent a few hours today sewing the flag together, its huge thats all I'm saying...if anyone has an 8-10 foot pole I could use it to wave the flag if not, than we may have to stand under it and have people hold it up.

What are we looking like for numbers at the game? I have at the very least 1 extra person, probably close to 3 or 4 though.

Ok, I don't have to go get streamers anymore, since Andrew got about a million of them. I'm going to look for a state of Michigan flag later (and maybe a couple of poles to hold them).

By the way, MLS Commish Garber has retracted his original statement (May 9) that streamers are part of the game atmosphere. The new statement (June 6) prohibits throwing objects (including streamers) at players, especially while taking corner kicks.

I got some more stuff for the games.

I have the South Africa and Trinidad Flags. We got some more streamers for the heck of it as well as a ton of balloons. For the balloons I am blowing them up and writing GO BUCKS and the website for the Herd on them.

I have a full car load of people, and possibly more that may need a ride...

Does the MLS streamer rule apply to us?

Eh the MLS rule doesn't directly affect us, and its not so much a rule yet as it is a strict suggestion...TFC fans have already complained and are going to continue to do it anyways. I would say we could use it more for celebrations instead of throwing at the players but we will se.

I got up early this morning for it, but I got the Michigan flag, and I got two 6' flagpoles, too. Not sure if that Bucks one will fit, but we'll see when we get there. Stef, I need you to bring more string to tie these things on later.

No, you can't have Cedar Point! But we are glad to have you visit smile

Prepare yourselves for a good old fashioned clinic this evening, because The Stars will not be shining on you!

Seriously, I am a little worried with your previous US Cup appearances...seems you like to play above your division.

The City Stars are on a roll this season though and we've got great teamwork that can find the back of the net.

My son and I are not driving three hours to lose, but I would like to take you up on the tailgate offer when we get there smile

I don't know when the Green Army bus is arriving...

Best wishes for a great game,

Steve
