First off, congratulations on making the Open Cup, Bucks! Keep up the great efforts! With the Bucks hosting the Open Cup 1st round game on June 10, there will be 3 home games for the Bucks in just a span of 6 days! The first of these games takes place on Wednesday, June 4 @ 7:30 PM at Lake Orion High School, which is less than 15 minutes away from the USA, right off of M-24 between the Palace and downtown Lake Orion. Lake Orion High School is located at the following address: 495 E. Scripps (at M-24) Lake Orion, MI Click on the following link for a map to there: http://maps.yahoo.com/#mvt=m&lat=42.7524...&gid1=16296138 Craig or Marc, could you create a Facebook event for this game? Jeff, given where we are playing, do you think there is a possibility the Bucks game could be specially promoted at L.O.H.S.? Figured I would throw that out there as a thought. I've got plenty of pop leftover from last Saturday saved up in cold storage, and I think Marc has some hot dogs handy (or at least is easily accessible to some). I can be there very early (like maybe 6:00-6:15 or so, since I work not too far away). Who would be interested in doing a little tailgating prior to the game? Let me know your thoughts on that, and we can coordinate something. Post your thoughts for the game here, and we hope to see most of you out there on the 4th!

We will be meeting out in the parking lot outside of the Lake Orion High School on Wednesday night, starting at 6:30 PM. I will have refreshments and some snacks to munch on as we prepare for the game, which commences at 7:30. We hope to see you all there!

Also whats the PDL policy on weather? Like what does it take to cancel or postpone a game?

I believe its thunder or lightning. Weather.com says only a 20% chance of rain tonight in Lake Orion.

The weather forecasts indicate that it's just supposed to be cloudy the remainder of the day, and into the evening. The rain isn't supposed to return until overnight.

Originally posted by Davids26: I believe its thunder or lightning. Pretty sure its the same as everyone else. Game would be delayed due to thunder/lighting. As long as you get a full half in, a game can be called as completed. Rain shouldn't cause a postponement/cancellation UNLESS it's bad enough to cause poor field conditions that could be potentially dangerous to the players, etc.

The Bucks are now 7-0-0 and have the inside track to be the top seed in the Central Conference. This may be important, since the new Central playoff structure, the top seed overall gets a bye to the conference semi-finals, and probably gets the first chance to host. I say that, because if the top team hosts, that can be known by the Monday after the regular season, but if one of the quarterfinalists need to host, it would be determined on the Thursday after the QF games are played. http://pdl.uslsoccer.com/home/216806.html So the main competition for the top seed are the St. Louis Lions (3-0-1), Chicago Fire (5-1-0), Toronto Lynx (2-1-0), Cleveland Internationals (3-1-1), and Thunder Bay Chill (0-0-0) [yes, they haven't played a game yet]. All other conference teams have at least two losses.
