Anyone interested in going on a group trip to Chicago to see a fire game? I found tickets on the Mega bus for 9/6 for $30 round trip. Anyone interested in coming along?

well it is nothing more than book a hotel and seats on the mega bus. I like to fly by the seat of my pants. I will have to look into how far away the stadium is and such but I will try and bring info.

If you're staying in Chicago, I'd suggest using Hotwire ... we've done this trip from the Twin Cities, and have always found great deals on a room or two ... one of our guys fits perfectly in a closet so he's happy with a 'room' of his own

No August 6th Saturday. Depending on where the bucks play for the playoffs I am in for a road trip pending on work travel.

August 6 is a Wednesday, and the Fire don't play that day. Maybe you mean the September 6 game (as in your first post) of RBNY at Chi. (Of course, the Bucks playoffs would be over by then.)

If you want to make it a half-week stay, the USMNT plays the Concacaf SF Matchday 3 at Chicago on Wednesday September 10, against Trinidad & Tobago. Tickets are not yet available, according to the USSoccer site. (The 6th is actually Matchday 2, with the USA playing at Cuba.)

Yeah, I did mean August 6th...idiot. I would definitely consider staying for the half week! I have a cheap place to stay for the week and I have plenty of vacation days still. Anyone else up for a half week in Chi-town?
