This past Saturday (July 8, 2006) was my 40th birthday, and minutes before the Timbers-Coventry City match on Saturday, I was told to go back into the tunnel where both teams were lining up.

Timbers coach Chris Agnello thanked me in front of both teams for my website work I did to support the team, and wished me happy 40th birthday and presented me with a replica jersey signed by the Timbers in front of both teams. Both the Timbers and Coventry City players gave me a round of applause that I was very touched by.

I just wanted to publically thank them for the gesture as I really appreciated it. Sometimes I think the fan support is not appreciated by the teams, and it's nice to know that sometimes, they do notice.
