Sorry to the Wilmington fans....another exciting year. Would've loved to see a NC final.
The heat tonight and Charlotte's depth won the series tonight. HCI is a great team and that was evidenced by a tight series. Towards the end of the half, you could tell HCI was beginning to tire, and Coach Steffens had not really dug too deep into the bench. As soon as the overtime started we immediately stuck in a bunch of our bench and the ball mostly stayed in HCI's half for the rest of the night. There were even some of their players who could barely run for a ball in the second overtime session.
That penalty kick loss in the Final last year is still well in our memory. Hoping to right that next Saturday against a very physical team.
I remember very well last year, Hammersheadsupporter, Charlotte and Utah battled it out after the hounds were done an injustice. I hope the Pioneers win.
KC, I hope you continue to make an arse of yourself.

Any word on if this game was as violent as the last or did some soccer squirm its way into the match? I might suggest to the Eagles to wear mouthgaurds and any other device that may keep the Eagles from losing a player due to the WMP "special" brand of play. Good luck and hang those yankees out to dry!

hey guys..........look, It is true that we all love to love our team, what a great way to pass the time. My comment about the coaching was not to say that I disagree with any desicion he's made, who am I to judge? Nobody. What I mean is that if we have the ABILITY to win at home, why can't we take that on the road???
