I ran into a guy into a big black guy wearing a Des Moines Menace jacket the other day at my team's practice and wondered who the guy was. Found his name on the league website and did a quick google of his name... and now I feel a little better knowing it was an ex-international who scored on me.

Yeah, I played for the Manace for about two months in 2001 before I left for FC Rostov in the Russian Premier League. The other Zimbabwean on the Manace team was Thando Dzowa from Bradley University (now is in South Africa)

The coach was Laurie Calloway at the time, I believe he is now Head coach of The Rochester Raging Rhinos in the A-league and before that he was Head coach of San Jose Earthquakes in the MLS.

Unfortunately I had a career ending injury but I am loving it coaching at my own Soccer School here in "snow-less" Victoria BC.
