um...I'm not sure that there was ever any real prospect of that happing. just some wishful thinking on some poster's part.

If they or any other team do come to pass in the Bay area, it would definitely be a whole new franchise setup.

I hear they are being bought by USASOC. They won't actually field a team but will report 100% accurate attendance of a sell-out every game, even though there won't be anyone in the stands of course :rolleyes: laugh

I remember that someone sayed that a Mortgage or Realstate Company from Indiana had bought the naming rights to the Team and would be bringin it back to play on 09,must of been only rumors then.
