Is anyone going to the game tomorrow? I haven't seen anything about it in the paper or any advertising on radio or in the newspaper?

From reading the Utah board it looks like John Cariel is going suit up for the Gold. I believe the new coaches name is Artie Cariel (not sure of the relation).

They are brothers. Your right nothing at all in the Modesto Bee. The coverage of the team as gotten less and less as the years pass

It is kind of hard to blame the paper for not covering them as much as in the first few years. Attendance has been down (at least the matches that I have attended). Hopefully a winning team can turn around the interest in the fans and media.

Wow, even an ad in the paper today on tonight's game. Hopefully the turnout will be good. Unfortunately I will be at wedding and unable to attend.

Their web site is still not updated. It is the morning of their first match and it says "no active news" on the front page. Their schedual is still from last year, should teams face a fine for this?

The team is spending about $1,000.00 per week on ads with the Modesto Bee, please look at the paper. 15 commercials (30 seconds/ea) on the week prior to each home game with Telemundo (TV). With all do in defense of the Modesto Bee, they have been very supportive of the Gold. Please see the paper. Soccer is not #1 for the Bee of course, but they are helping out allot more than other people, groups, and/or organizations that should be helping or working along with the Gold.
