Does anyone know how the second round of tryouts went last week? Any interesting prospects for the team? Did any CPSL players come hoping to get a call up?

As you may or may not know the Lynx lost in a pre-season exhibition game to Hamilton Thunder of the CPSL. The final score was 2-1. A few of the starters were regulars - Ashton, Serioux, Aristodemo and Mason. There were some others I could not identify. Gameplay was fairly even between both teams and I'm sure the cold weather affected the players ability to play at their fullest potential. Overall I was disappointed by the poor finishing of the Lynx. They had their chances and could of easily won the game. What worries me is the lack of firepower up front.

Also of note, the goaltender that let in two goals was not Theo Zagar, but some new player that I have never seen before. You can find the Lynx in action this Thursday at the Soccer Centre in Vaughan at 7:30pm.
