It's not that I want to be mister negative or the ultimate criticiser, but this has bothered me for a while and I am interested if I am the only one.
Has anyone noticed on the Lynx's website, they have a specific photo shown on the website in many spots. The photo I am referring to is the one that has the Rochester Rhino player winning a high ball over a Lynx player (Serioux). Not only is the Rhino player winning the ball, but is head and shoulders over the Lynx player. This photo doesn't really signify that we have a winning team (or want a winning team). When a photo like this is used on the official website it feels like we are showing that we are expecting to lose the individual battles. Why wouldn't you pick a similar moment where we were winning the battle, where we had the upper hand. At least then, on the website, it would show that we can win, rather than bow down to our opponents. (And the twisting of knife of it is, it is showing our arch-rivals, Rochester, beating us.)
The worst thing about this photo is that it is used on the introduction page/song/clip. It is also used on the News Release page, and others I'm sure.
I have to ask, am I over-sensitive on this, or is there others out there that think this is not a well thought out photo to include on their website. (If others feel I am making this bigger than it is, maybe then I will call myself Mr. Negative)
PS - The website for those non-Lynx fans (traitors) is
www.torontolynx.com. (not sure how to tag this for a link, so you will just have to cut and paste)
