It is my understanding that nobody can be left. The PDL is an amateur league - professionals can't play in it. So only those who are willing to play for free can stay - and even then I'm not sure if they can stay. Also there are a limited number of players older than 23 that can be on the team. When the Lynx chose the PDL they were leaving the professional ranks - surrending to the new club in town. My hope is that someday they can return - at least to Division 2. In the meanwhile hopefully they can help some players develop who can then play in the professional leagues.

Hamilton would of been a nice move. Could of stayed one or went two instead of the PDL. I wish'em luck though, it hasn't been an easy ride for the ownership
I was looking at the Lynx 2007 schedule. Too bad they couldn't have been slotted into a division with Ottawa. The Lynx are a good fit for the Great Lakes division but I don't think travel would be hugely more if they had gone into the Northeast.
