The new schedule is out but the team website still has the 2006 players listed. Does anyone know yet who has left and who is staying?

It is my understanding that nobody can be left. The PDL is an amateur league - professionals can't play in it. So only those who are willing to play for free can stay - and even then I'm not sure if they can stay. Also there are a limited number of players older than 23 that can be on the team. When the Lynx chose the PDL they were leaving the professional ranks - surrending to the new club in town. My hope is that someday they can return - at least to Division 2. In the meanwhile hopefully they can help some players develop who can then play in the professional leagues.

Hamilton would of been a nice move. Could of stayed one or went two instead of the PDL. I wish'em luck though, it hasn't been an easy ride for the ownership

I was looking at the Lynx 2007 schedule. Too bad they couldn't have been slotted into a division with Ottawa. The Lynx are a good fit for the Great Lakes division but I don't think travel would be hugely more if they had gone into the Northeast.
