Was a very physical game, by both sides, but the fouls seemed to go against us as often as not. This was accompanied by lots of cheap shots against our players as well. On one play Brooks went up for a ball that he wasn't going to be able to reach and was given a hit in the back that is most likely illegal in the NFL now on overthrows, as was similarly the case here.

It will be interesting to see how we make up for the loss of Brooks on his red card for the Charlotte match as he has accounted for a high percentage of our goals.

I'm sure the game was an education for my nine year old. I don't think he's ever been sworn at before or had people try to steal his things like at this game. I appreciate the fans intensity, but it's clearer to me now why home and visiting fans are kept separate overseas. I'll have to think twice before going back for the return match, if I want to feel unsafe I'll just go to the bad parts of Baltimore, it's a shorter drive.
