mm....nothing. I was hoping someone would have info on the Blue Star. Seems they are now the "Galaxy Reserves"

This is all good stuff for OC soccer and the Galaxy in general. I hope the team gets funded by AEG so that it does not dissapear in a year or two; as was the case with the OC Waves and Zodiac.

I have moderated this forum for about 2 years without many other people responding. It has been very frustrating to see me post just to myself. That is why before this post from Galaxy Dude it had been 1 year since the last post.

I would like to see any Orange County fans of the Galaxy post here so we can increase traffic in this forum and also to organize ourselves in supporting the Galaxy Reserves for the remainder of the PDL season.

The club's next match is against the Central Coast Roadrunners on Sunday, June 16, at 4:00 p.m. at the Sage Hill School.

The team is now going to be called the Blue Star Galaxy Reserves, I believe. As far as getting to the game this Sunday; Sage Hill School is on Newport Coast Drive just south of the 73 Toll Road. Hopefully, someone is reading this and will get to the game despite the fact that it is Father's Day. I'll try to make it. Sorry, Dad.

Anyway, feel free to post on our LARS Boards about this as well. There are several OC guys on there. I'll get the word out and perhaps a couple will show up on Sunday.

I don't think I'll be able to make it to this game, as I do have to see der Papa for Vaterntag.

I have posted on the Galaxy Boards and also on BigSoccer. I usually just sit back and read other posts without really posting myself. Maybe this is the time for me to be more active and try to engage other Galaxy fans in some good spirited discussion on our favorite team.

I don't know if there are any CSUF players on the squad. The only printed record that I had of the Blue Star was from a So. Cal. Seahorses game program and I lost that. I believe tickets are under 10 dollars for adults. It is quite inexspensive. Cheaper than going to the movies. :p Last season the team also had club merchandise. I have a cap and a T-shirt. Since, I haven't been to a home game this season I don't know if they are still selling these items or anything at all.

The Blue Star came to San Diego last week and I wrote a little report. At the end of my report you can see the names of those who played in the game. Maybe you can recognize someone as a CSUF grad, or something like that.
