When reading the article about Jesse Myers comments on the Hershey players winding up in VA and other topics, I noticed that the name of the PDL team is apparently the Future.

yuk.

Could be worse, could be Kickers Reserves or Kickers Select. I don't even like the name 'Kickers' but I've learned to live with it.

I would have liked to have seen Richmond FC, but I generally ignore teams last names anyway and just refer to them as their City - although I guess I will need to use 'Future' to distinguish them from 'Kickers'.

The main point is we have more soccer in Richmond for 2002 - and that's a good thing.

Yeah they could have done better with the Kickers name...but since this will be our 10th season it's too late to do anything about it. As for the "Future" I just don't conceptual names like that. They could have nemed them Red Devils or something (Ducking from Chris's swift kick. I do have one question..When Richmond plays the Williamsburg Legacy...is that like the future meeting the past?

But just imagine the great puns the newspapers will have.

If Atlanta meet away to Richmond's PDL team in the open cup, you could have

It is kind of fun when you do it here, though.
