Is he by any chance that Mexican League player the Pat's signed a couple year back? He supposedly was one of the leading scorers in MFL at the time.

Brazilian Forward Milton Queiroz "Tita" played in Mexico for about 5-7 years not exactly sure how many.

For a period of time in the early mid 90's he was the leading scorer of the Mexican league, he had a cannon of a shot, man he could hit the ball hard!

He played mostly for Leon, and his team constantly made the playoffs and won one league title.

He was a pretty darn good player, now let's see what kind of a coach he is.

Hey...a Mexican nationl player with face recognition who could score? Will he be bringing a new attitude to the team? The Patriots carry the worst reputation in the league. Our attendance dips every time we get them because of the historically unappealing style.

Perhaps a new coach, change of venue and hopefully, approach, will vitalize a franchise that should be one of the best in the league, given its population base.

Hey MexSoccer can you give me some info on where this gentlemen has coached? According to the EP Times, he recently coached in Japan, in addition to stints in Italy. (Check in the Patriots/Galaxy thread to see the article)

God I hope so. I want some freaking silverware to put in the Pat's trophy case.

Rumor has it that for the new coach to come, the Patriots had to agree to him bringing five players from Brazil whith who he was confortable and could implement his style of play with.

Actually this is the first I heard of him coaching, I saw him play in Mexico for a few years and then he retired, after that this is the first I hear of him...

Remember, RtA, just because they're Brazilian, it doesn't mean they play like Brazil. Hell...even Brazil doesn't play like much like Brazil anymore. Still, if the team is more entertaining and less of a league pariah, it will help make it a better draw everywhere...and definitely at home.
