Actually wellington, that was just an estimate. The Pat's have stopped announcing official attendance numbers at the games. I was hoping maybe I could find it at USLsoccer.com, but those f*cking idiots have yet to add the match statistics for the game.

The city either needs to give Dudley to Cervantes (which won't happen because the zoo is getting ready to expand) or help him build something completely different. From what you have seen, do you think maybe Mr. Cervantes was better off spending his money on trying to get their own place? Anyways, I have been saying this all along, we need our own place. People we don't need a freaking palace, just something small to start us off. A modular stadium similar to the ones used by Hanks H.S. and Del Valle High School would be a great way to start. Del Valle's stadium costed about 1.6 million about 3-4 yrs ago. I think there could be a way where the necessary funds could be found for this project. I feel that as the money begins to roll in, we can build up the place. Who knows, we could eventually have our own palace resembling Highbury.

I think all the money spent over the years might come close to the amount you'd pay for a stadium, but that's still an awful lot of coin. Not that he doesn't have it, but you'd think with the amount he's sunk into a stadium that's not his, into the practice facility and training center that are his, and striving to improve, keep and improve EL PASO players (I dare any other team at this level to show a roster with as many players from within a 60 mile radius of its home CITY, much less STATE), that the city of El Paso would help a brothah out.
Nope. Not yet, anyway.
I took some pics of Dudley with a digital camera that I tried to get to USLsoccer.com in time for a feature they ran on the stadium. Since I wrote the story while on the road, obviously I had to wait before I could get the pics and by then it was too late to post them with the story's run on the league website.
How do you go about posting those things here? Is there a process, or just copy and click? I'll be more than happy to show 'em off if someone can tell me how.

First, Duke you need to upload the pics to a website. I am sure you can find free personal websites from whichever ISP you have. Once they are upload and on the web, you get their address. You do this by right cliking on the photo and going to "Properties". The pic's address will be found here. Then, when it comes time to post it, look for the "Image" button on the reply page. It is under the words "Instant UBB Code". When the prompt comes up, just type in the address of the pic. That should pretty much do it.
