Among the players not taken folowing the demise of the Mutiny and Fusion are some quality players. Should the Pats go after any? I am not talking about the old ones, but the new guys who just did not make the team? Any ideas?

Should they? No question about it, they should.
Will they? More than likely they will.
Will they get any of these players to come to EP and play for us? Probably not.

If you want quality, you have to come up with the cash to be able to pay for these players. If history is any indication, the Pat's seems more willing to spend money on young (and old) talent from across the border than they do on American talent. Hopefully this trend will change soon. Upper bracket teams such as Rochester, Charleston, etc. have better chances of landing the former MLSers than the Pat's. Personally, I see the Pat's landing players that lost their spots to these former MLS players on their respective A-League teams. You know, the players that were cut by their A-League teams to make room for the MLSers.
