Well seeing that we sometimes post and talk about stuff other soccer and the Pat's, I thought I would follow the lead of the Chicago Fire forum at B**S***** laugh , I'll start one here. You can post about anything you want in this thread.

I guess I'll start it off:

Well today was my first day of school at UTEP. I had 3 classes today; math, political science and economics. They went OK, but now I have to find cash to buy the books. I guess my bank account is going to take big hit. I already bought my Pol. Science, it set me back about 50 bucks. Tomorrow I only have one class - history. Hopefully the book for history (and economics) won't be so expensive.

Last week I was totally bored so I was on the computer practically 24/7. It was really boring until I started messing around with Microsoft Paint. I stayed entertained for quite a bit once I got the hang of it. I worked on a lot of graphics and logos, but I put most of my energy into coming up with a new logo for the Pat's. In the past I think I have not hidden the fact that I really don't like the Pat's cartoonish logo. I always wished they would change it to something more traditional. I came up with a couple badges, but these are the ones I have been able to up load so far.

Let me clarrify before I go any further, Those logos are just me using my imagination, they are not official.

Well I guess I should explain them so maybe they make some sense. My fav. of the two is the first one.

To come up with the logo, I looked at existing logos for inspiration. It is quite obvious that my inpiration came from none other than Barcelona.

Once I got the general feel for what logo I was going to draw, I though of what would be important to show in the logo. I went with the thought "What better represents the Patriots?". Well after thinking about it, I came up with the Patriots missile from the existing logo, the geography of El Paso and the Texas flag. Now let me explain why and what significance they have.

First, the Patriots missile was obvious, I mean the team is named in honor of the it. Second, the geography of El Paso. I wanted to put something into the logo that would represent the city of El Paso. It took me a while but I finally came up with it after coming across my ticket stub from the Sun Bowl game. I remebered that for the past couple years I have gotten the opportunity to talk to some of our out of town guests who come in for the football game. Practically everyone I talked to said that they loved El Paso's sunny weather and mountains. So right there, I decided I should put the mountains and the river. Then it occured to me, what else make EP unique? The Rio Grande. So I put that in as well, so thats how I came up with on part of the logo. Finally I remebered about the Pat's anniversary, and how much pride I felt in seeing the Pat's being one of only a few teams to have survived this long. Then I came up with, well we are the only A-League team in Texas, so why not put a flag in there? And that pretty much led me to put in the things that I did.

I forgot to mention that the stripes in the background of the Patriot missile also represent EP in a small way. The two red stripes represent the two countries (and it's cultures) that meet here in EP. I picked red since it is featured on both the American and Mexican flags. Then the blue stripes represent either one of two things; the cities that make up the region (EP, Las Cruces and Ciudad Juarez) or the 3 states (TX, New Mexico and Chihuahua).

The difference between the two logos is the display of the Patriots team name. #2 was the first one I finished. When I finished it, I decided that maybe I should make one with the Pat's team name on it, so I did. That's how #1 came to be. Like I said I used FC Barcelona as a starting point, so that is why you see yellow in the background of the team name on the first logo.

From looking at the logos, I can say I have already found the need to make a small change to them. On the part where the Mountains are, I should add a star so it can truly represent the Franklin mountains. For our non-El Pasoans, the Franklins are the name of the Mountains in EP. On one of the peaks, there is a huge star made out of lights. It is considered as one of the many unique features of EP.

Anyways if I had my way, I would have the Pats change their logo to one of these in an instant.

The off-season is way too long darnit!! laugh

eek Chuy, your logo rocks!

I've thought the cartoon was a little too "minor-league" for an organization with any aspirations of bigger and better things. I wondered what an old-fashioned shield should look like -- and remembered Arsenal has a picture of a cannon on theirs, so why not the Patriot missile. But this!...takes it to a whole new level.

I'm voting we adopt that sucker as our official unofficial logo!

Thanks Dan & Duke. I'll try to get more logos uploaded so you guys can see them. Also wheneer I have a chance I'll work on new jerseys for the Pat's.

Can't wait to see what more you have up your sleeve...

In talking about generalities, I drove past the Dudley Dome today on my way to the Coliseum for Buzzards' practice and, lo and behold, the darn thing has a brand new coat of paint in Patriot blue! It stands out quite a bit. At least it shows they're working on this upcoming season. Hope that pitch is next!

It's funny, having followed Buzzards hockey around the south and southwest these last five seasons now, how well these guys are received by a core group of local fans. These people buy season tickets year in and year out. It makes me wonder why the Patriots don't have a similar following. They do have some real soccer fans who come to their games regardless of weather or record or whatever, but there doesn't seem to be as much passion amongst that group as exists for the hockey team.

It's very strange...You'd think with so many people who are so very familiar with soccer in this city, there'd be more people showing up for things like giving guys goodie bags when they go on the road, helping them buy the basics when they move to town like sheets and ironing boards and so forth. It would be difficult to show up for the odd road game (a charter bus to Odessa as opposed to buying a plane ticket to Vancouver), but there really doesn't seem to be a whole lot of fan involvement with the team like I see for the Buzz. You would be surprised how loyal and passionate these Buzzards fans are about their little Double-A level hockey franchise, and that's nothing compared to what I see in some of the old-line CHL franchises like San Antonio. (I've never had an opposing booster club make their team's opponents an after-game meal, win or lose, until the Buzz played the Iguanas in San Antonio for the first time ever. I think if a team like New Mexico tried it, though, I'd want a food taster just to make sure they didn't put ground glass in the meat sauce or something.) For being so far removed from the NHL, you'd be surprised by the amount of passion these local fans give their hockey teams.

Why not in soccer? Why not start a Patriots' fan club that has an association -- however minor -- with the front office to help incoming players find what they need and give some moral support?

Maybe there needs to be a soccer version of "Slapshot!" where fans can quote lines from the movie ("Trade me to Hampton Roads! Right f***ing now!") to get a little more "involved" with the soccer lifestyle.

Maybe the lack of a loveable, blue-collar, scruffy-dog image in soccer is what keeps the game from endearing itself to American fans, especially below MLS.

Maybe it's the lingering perception that soccer is "just a kids' sport".

All I know is that Patriots tickets are cheaper and easier to come by than Buzzards tickets, yet the Buzz are now just below the Patriots' season average in attendance, but over 32 home games as opposed to 14. Wassup?!

Oh well, meandering time is over...

Woo Hoo!!

I can feel it, things are starting to come around for the beginning of the soccer season. I too saw that Dudley was being repainted. I wonder what other changes will be made to the stadium to get it ready for the upcoming season. I wonder if they are trying to get the place ready in time for tryouts (they are supposed to be taking place sometime in February.) Out of curiosity, what happened to the Scorpions? Did they move out of Dudley or was the team disbanded?

I thought that the Patriots kinda had a sort of booster club like you mentioned Duke? I always saw Cervantes family as a sort of booster club for the team. You always see members of his family, including his father-in-law, at the games regardless. Also I was led to believe that they were around most of the time when the team had a carne asada or get togethers. Anyways I remember last year I got some e-mail from someone telling me how much they enjoyed what I was doing. I responded to him/she and also mentioned that maybe we could try to start up a supporter's club. I never got a response from him. Anyways, I think starting up a supporter's club like you describe Duke would not be that bad of an idea. It'd be cool to meet some Pat's fans in addition to getting more people on this forum.

You bring up some good points Duke. One would think that in a city of 700,000 there would be a willing and loyal few who would do something similar to what the Buzz's fans do. It's funny, but I get the feeling that El Pasoans don't see our current sports teams as viable sports teams. Do you know what I mean? (I will warn you, I do know what I am talking about, it is just that I am having a hard explaining it.) I mean they see the local sports teams not as professional but rather as amateurs who play in amateur organizations and leagues. They see these teams as a novelty. Many El Pasoans seem to think that you should only show support for major teams. Honestly, it pisses me off that many people in this city have that attitude. Some don't understand that the way we support our current teams might one day help us obtain that "major league" team in El Paso everyone always fantazises about. There is nothing wrong with supporting our local sports teams.

I have a bunch of stuff that I want to write about here concerning the support of teams here in El Paso. Speaking of the Buzz, you know I have never really been to any of their games. I went once during their 3rd season, but 15 or so minutes into the game I had to leave to take care of some family emergency. Since then, I have not come close to going back. I like hockey, but the trouble is finding someone else who likes it that can go with me. Gong to sporting events with someone else is usually more fun than going by yourself. My dad doesn't really understand it, so he isn't willing to go to the games. Also all my friend who like hockey go to school in Austin.

Anyways, how are the Buzz doing? I have not had the chance to keep up with the team like I have other seasons. I do know that there was a merger with the CHL in addition to the league changing it's name to the CHL. Also I do remember that the entire South Conference is made up off pure Texas city teams. Other than those things, I don't know much about the team. Mind filling me in Duke.

Ok I am late for class.

No problem, Chuy...

The Buzz are actually doing pretty well headed into the ol' "Rodeo Road Trip" where they play the next three weekends on the road as the County Coliseum makes room for the SW Livestock Show & Rodeo.

It's a hard-hitting team that Trent Eigner has put together. You should check it out -- maybe with a girl friend or your mom or (if you have one) sister. Not to stereotype here, but the ladies seem to enjoy the fights a lot -- at least mine does, anyway. It's a real in-your-face sport and one of my faves, plus the athletes are, for the most part, very good people. They really do draw a lot of loyalty to the team and the organization. The owner's a bit whacked, the team has money problems (hey, hockey's expensive!) but it's still a great sport and a great team for this area.

As for how El Paso perceives its sports teams, I think you have a real point about supporting franchises that have absolutely no stake in this city and could care less how many members of the Dallas Cowboys fan club we have here. It's sad that people stay away in droves if any of the city's franchises fails or loses.

The Diablos might be the one team different from the rest. They're more driven by giveaways and hot dog nights and the San Diego Chicken. I still think their change from local ownership to a conglomerate of sports teams hurts them more than their losing record, despite what people say.

The Miners -- It's a love-hate relationship. It's like an on-again, off-again love affair. One moment UTEP looks like some gorgeous babe you want to take to the party and show off. The next, she's Roseanne Barr and she's pirating the karaoke microphone to tell everyone that she's hot for your bod and she's got a little ditty to honor America by.

The Buzzards -- They have their pocket of fans, and attendance is way, way up this season, but El Paso's still going to have a hard time identifying with hockey.

The Patriots -- Don't but should have more support from the many, many soccer fans in this city. Maybe a more focused approach to local, grass roots stuff is going to help in the long run. But they're still going to have to find some place other than Dudley when it becomes Sissy the Elephant's new sandbox.

(I have no clue what's up with the Scorpions.)

This is the D3 Conneticut Wolves' new logo. I think it is pretty cool. Rather classy. Since the Patriots seem to be in the midst of becoming a "real" soccer club, they should start thinking about changing the logo to something more classy and serious. May suggest something similar to the one I came up with.

Why does virtually everyone in America put a soccer ball in their logo? Most teams in most countries do not and I won't put the term "classic" on any that does.

Well I would, especially in a country where a lot of sport teams new logos look like cartoons. Well my number one team in the world just changed their logo, and I have no idea on whether to like it or hate it.

Old logo:

New logo:

The new logo sort of resembles PSG's home kits. I have to ask, why in the hell blue?!?! Why couldn't they of instead put white in order for it to resemble the kit's in which we won the double? I am a huge fan of anything Nike, but some of the stuff they have been coming out with for soccer is just absolutely horrible. Here is further proof:

The U.S. World Cup jersey:

That is a picture I found on ebay since I can't get into the B**S***** store to get the oficial picture. That right there is the jersey our boys will be wearing this summer. Right now, I think it sucks, but knowing the way I am, it will eventually grow on me.

* Speaking of B**S*****, WTF is up with that serever of theirs? One would think that with the supposed success of their store, they would have enough cash to buy a better server. In the mean time, I have been going to Xtratime to fill my need to read and talk soccer from around the world. The board has a more international flavor than B**S*****. The style/atmosphere is something similar to that of B**S***** women's rivalry forum.

*For the love of god, please Miners win your last five home games!!! I don't want you a-holes playing in those dreaded "play-in" games at the WAC tournament. The way you guys have been playing this season, I have no idea whether you guys will win or not. The university does not want to pay to have the Pep band in Tulsa since Tuesday. The only way if we get a free trip is you a-holes make the queterfinals. SO you better win cause I want a free trip.

* In case anyone is wondering, that is blue in the side panels of the U.S. jersey.

* Where in the heck is AL? I haven't seen him in a while. He seemed to have some insight into who the Pat's were looking into getting as a coach (in addition to other things). Maybe JY Ferry asked him to stop and not say anything concerning the team........

* ......Speaking of Ferry, anyone else notice how he hasn't checked in, in addition to removing his e-mail address from his profile? By this time last year he had already shown up and said something concerning the team and the upcoming season. If he isn't going to be showing up, maybe he shouldn't be allowed to be moderator. Maybe then I can get the e-mail notification thing I had before it was taken away.

Anyways, I guess Ferry removed his e-mail adress so that way me and a certain other person in this forum wouldn't bother him about the Pat's off season.

* I hate school. I hate math, especially pre-calculus. It dosn't help that my pre-cal teacher has a heavy accent. Oh well! I have a hard week full of stuff to do in school. I already got some of it done by turning in my pre-calculus project. Now I have to write a paper for world history in addition to studying for my test for Economics and Political Science. I also can't forget that I have a lot of reading I have to catch up on.

Meanderings while wondering if UTEP can even play itself into the WAC Tournament proper...(Wouldn't it be neat if Tim Floyd decided to help a certain old friend? That would be neat.)

Had a nice discussion with Mitch the other day...Yes, the Sampson bit was indeed the kickoff to the Patriots' soccer academy. One of the main purposes of this thing is to give our townies the opportunity to keep close to the club and keep a little extra jingle in the pocket during the offseason. The Pats HQ is looking good, with workout equipment and locker room with showers, etc.

Cervantes spares no expense when you're talking about the team he has on hand. He really does want to develop El Paso soccer. My only gripes are that he has no staff to direct it and that he just keeps looking for professional direction for his club on the Rio Bravo side of the Rio Grande. Mr. Lee's observation regarding tryouts and team members signed, etc., is very astute, except that the perspective is off. The Pats have plenty of the "Hometown Heroes" in tow for the upcoming season already. The non-"Hometown Heroes" are coming, too...Just not from this side of the border, in my opinion. (That includes the coach, from what I'm hearing.)

Boy, unless this perspective changes, we may be in for more of the same on the pitch.

As for your son, Mr. Lee, probably one of the reasons he can't get in touch with anybody is that rarely is anybody actually there. The Patriots maintain a skeleton crew in the off-season, and it doesn't include a coach. It would be nice if they returned phone calls, but I think Mitch and Diana are just too fragmented to do much of anything except maintain the status quo.

Off the pitch, if people can stand the restrooms, Dudley should be a decent fit. They are redoing the pitch itself, and as for my personal little bugaboo -- the press box -- apparently, the Pats are bringing in a converted semi trailer to serve as a mobile box, complete with plenty of windows, rooms for broadcasters and writers and -- most importantly -- air conditioning.

Hey, it won't be the SAC, but it should be cozy.

FYI, they're also close to getting the Galaxy in for an exhibition that will take place at Dudley if the grass is ready, at the Sun Bowl if it isn't.

Hey Duke how long have you been on the morning show at KLAQ? I usually don't listen to morning radio shows, especially since I got a cd player in my car my junior year in high school. Anyways I was listening cause I was interested in hearing about the big Mardi Gras party downtown. Some of my buddies in the pep band are so excited, that they bought additional beads. (I think one of them even went ahead and spent $50 on just beads. eek ) It pisses me off that El Paso seems to be so backwards in everything it does. Like you guys said, it is stupid to have a 10p.m. No-Noise ordinance in an area that is touted as an entertainment-district.

* Another thing that has been pissing me off has been Speaking Rock casino being forced to close down. I fully understand that they are breaking the law, but in reality the Tiguas really aren't hurting anyone. In fact it seems the casino has helped the Tiguas "come" back to life when it seemed like they were ready to fade away. I really hope that the law is changed sometime soon.

* Speaking of Speaking Rock Casino, I wonder how much the closing will affect the Pat's in terms of sponsorship money? So far, it has already affected one sports institutions here in El Paso - the UTEP Miners upcoming road games at Fresno State (The Miners are going to get killed. FSU just beat #12 Oklahoma State. I predict a "Valentine's Day Massacre" come Thursday) and at Nevada will not be shown locally due to the loss of sponsors. The casino is seen as one of the reasons for the loss in sponsors.

* Freaking Miners, I still can't believe they lost to Rice!

* I still can't believe you lost to Rice.......at home!!! WTF are you doing Rabedeaux?!?! WTF is wrong with the senior on this team?!?! Where is the heart?!?!

* As of now the Miners will have to play in one of the play-in games for the WAC tournament. The bottom four teams will play each other on Tuesday in order to advance to play against either the #1 or #2 seeds in the quarterfinals on Thursday. Hopefully they win the play in game and draw Hawaii cause if they get Tulsa, they really won't have much of a chance. (the tourney is being held in Tulsa)

* Speaking of "Hometown Heroes", I think it is time they change that. After going thru what we did on September 11, the word "hero" has taken on a new meaning. As a result, an athlete is hardly what I think of as a "hero".

Sorry, but being understaffed isn't a reason to not return calls from prospective players.

Also, we've sent letters to not only the PATS office but DIRECTLY to the owner and have never received so much as a poorly photocopied general/generic response like: yeah, we'll contact you when we decide if we're going to have a tryout.

Then, again, the Hampton Roads office was just about as bad in the communications area, not contacting players who they had invited to tryouts with specifics and not returning phone calls and not following up when they said, "we'll call you next week." And they were actively trying to attact people, not like the PATS which have virtually gone into hiding from anyone's perspective who lives out of town/state. And I'd guess Hampton Roads has a decent number of people on their staff. It's a matter of how the organization is run from the top...in this case the coach seems very unprofessional...and that will leak down to the lower staff of course.

Wasn't just my kid, either. He talked to several out-of-town players who had to call Hampton the DAY BEFORE the tryout to confirm they were, indeed, still having it...after the team said "we'll be in touch". Poorly run. They got word just hours before having to get in their cars to drive the 10+ hours to get there.

WEll, they want to have an academy. Then they need some office staff members who can run one properly and a coaching staff that not only knows a thing or two about soccer but, EVEN MORE IMPORTANTLY, can teach and communicate well.

What I'd imagine they ought to do is bring in some players with coaching backgrounds and career intentions towards this sort of thing.

The Ramage bunch really talked up the coaching oportunities to the guys they had at their tryouts. Coaching license help and "all the coaching you can handle" to make money. Just what my kid wanted to hear.

Now, they've got an ORGANIZATION. But, at the same time, they're smart in that the go-getter players who want to coach and earn money above their "salary" have the opportunity to do so. Those lazy butts can sit in their apartment and watch Jerry Springer or go out drinking at night.

I understand the desire to use locals and even some players from "across the river", however, reality checks can sure help. All one has to do is think back to last year and the tremendous lack of any real guidance and on-field maturity which killed the team on several occassions, either with ejections or the lack of fortitude to capitalize on an early ejection on the other team.

Youth is great but most often lacks maturity as well as the experience that is needed at this level of play where you're giving away some major points on the field...size being one.

And, correct me if I'm wrong, wasn't there a real lack of return on the PAT's investment in "veteran" players from south of the border? Believe Chuwy mentioned more than once that they seemed to be cruising and putting little effort out..waiting to go home and play "real" soccer.

Only saw a few minutes of opening and close of the game between my alma mater Okla State and Fresno State. Thought OSU was better than that.

Tulsa is another alma mater of mine. We actually had a kick-*** football team when I was there in 60s. Jerry Rhome (sp) and some other dude whom I can't remember his name was there. One went on to play with Miami for several years if I'm not mistaken.

Chuwy:

Yep, the Miners are suckin' it up pretty bad. It's never fun when travel plans get canceled. I'll be amazed if this group gets past the play-in game of the WAC Tournament.

I've been part of the Q Morning Show for going on five years -- with a few months off for a flirtation with the world of minor league hockey. Boy! You think minor-league soccer is bad! Hockey's got to generate about $1.3 mil just to stay afloat. Most teams don't. Even with the travel A-League soccer's a cheaper proposition by far. (Especially with no office staff!)

From what I've seen, the biggest difference to me is, with soccer, more of the money men tend to be local. With hockey, you don't know where they come from, and, in many cases, you might not want to know! I think the Buzz may last, but eventually they will need local ownership.

Mr. Lee:

You're right. Not phoning anyone back is just not good business. I hate hearing that Hampton Roads goes to the trouble of getting guys revved up only to leave 'em hanging in the end. That's squarely on the coach/dir. of ops, and it's even worse, in my opinion, than just not calling back at all...Not that either scenario is acceptable.

As for lack of professionalism, that's precisely what I meant in my earlier post about "more of the same". I'd hate to see it. We seem to do well with Brazilians (Oscar Lira and Marinho, both of whom stayed for years) for whatever reason, but last season my gripe was that the American game has passed the Patriots by and I think that still holds true. Obviously, we have yet to see the season played, but those over-the-hill guys they get from south of the border to teach the youngsters "professionalism" don't care enough, so the youngsters -- such as they are -- are left to mind the store at season's end. Once the oldsters find out there is good but hard-nosed soccer played in this country it's almost like they just give up the ghost, resulting in situations like the one that cost Sal Mercado his roster spot last season.

Incidentally, are you a fellow Okie? I'll admit that I grew up in Norman if you'll promise not to bring up a certain football score from this past season.

Also...

Chuy:

The Speaking Rock deal was a big one three or four years ago. It hasn't been that big recently, but they were just beginning to spend money again. That's something that hurts everyone in town -- UTEP most of all, since it appears that contract may be one of the biggest reasons their TV coverage was yanked.

Mr. Lee:

I'm not sure the Patriots academy will be anything more than a loose affiliation with the El Paso Parks & Recreation Dept. at first. Nothing as well-organized as Milwaukee.

Well, I'm sort of an Okie, not born there but father was (Bartlesville/Tulsa) and we moved to OKC right after the war (WWII) when I was less than a year old. Grew up in Tulsa mostly with trips up north and then back to Tulsa for most of grade school and h.s. (Kelley) and then attended Tulsa U. Transferred to Pittsburg, KS.

I worked for about 2 years as a radio news reporter/announcer in Joplin during that time and graduated and after service came back to Ponca City and then went to grad school and got a full time job at OSU as a writer.

Still have family in Ponca and Tulsa. Ran the races at Ponca City several times as well as the two tracks near Tulsa.

Very nice! Tulsa's a beautiful city -- a lot more picturesque than OKC with all those rolling hills. Ah, the lovely Turner Turnpike!

I remember Joplin a bit as well, as it was along the highway (I-44) my family took to go see the grandparents in southern Illinois.

Perhaps one of these days I'll wise up and move into education to make that "real" money. (Well, it's more real than mid-market radio, I'm sure.)

How'd you come to enjoy The Game growing up in football country?...The "other" football, of course.

Chicken or egg?

Can't remember exactly but 20 years ago one of these happened first and then...

1.) Football Made in Germany on PBS...need I say more?

2.) Looking for sport for my 5 year old. Soccer started earliest and was, at the time, the "new" sport that was anti-baseball's "parents from hell" syndrome.

3.) Looking for a sport that had a cool uniform and would take my kid at 5 1/2 or so. Figured all that running and none of the b.s. of baseball

Sounds like you and your family have had quite the ride and are still enjoying tooling about here and there.

Regardless of what your son would have played, I'm sure he would have enjoyed the experience. Wandering around the Southwestern and Southern highways with a bunch of northerners and Canadians for the last five years, I can attest to the fact that it's a pretty fun ride. For most of these guys -- especially at that level -- the ride is all they'll get. But, hey, there are a lot worse ways to make a living. The only thing that gets old is the bus. My butt is about five years older than the rest of me. Hey, at least in the A-League all the travel is by plane.

Would I trade it? Nope.

Passed by DF this morning, and I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. The field is beginning to look really good. If I can one of these days, I'll take my camera to try and get some pics.

Joe Muench: It\'s been a good week for soccer

With all due respect but.........
20,000 in the Sun Bowl to see the Pat's play the Galaxy? On a Tuesday? WTF are you smoking Mr. Doblado? I really hope you are right, but I have my doubts.

* To the senior UTEP Miners men's basketball players - Good F****** Riddance!!!!! You a******* embarassed my school long enough. Brian Stewart - you sir are a f****** piece of s***. Thank god you are leaving. God knows I wouldn't be able to put up with your playing another year. You are 6'10, 240 or so pounds yet you play like a sissy `nsync boy. And to Chris Neal, drop dead a******!!!! How in the hell did you decide to be up in someone's face with 4.7 seconds left in a ball game having a 3 point lead? You should of left him alone, the worst that would of happened would of been another OT. But no, you f****** idiot had to go and f*** up. Like I said, drop dead dumba$$.

In case anyone is wondering what I am talking about: UTEP season dies in OT

One more thing, Rabeaudeux you better make sure you sign Keion Kindred. We need a PG for next season. If you don't, everyone associated with the Miners will give you hell.

I'm back!!!

I have had a couple interesting things happen to me since I last posted (Almost a month). A couple of the events:

* I finally switched majors. I am now in business
* I finally went to a Buzzards game. That sh!t was fun. I gotta admit though, the Coloseum sucks for hockey. Wouldn't it be possible for the Buzzards to use the Don Haskins center every now and then?
* I expirienced my first broken heart. Burn in hell you bitc........ eek
* Levi's closed down. frown
* I came close to winning a lot of cash. Of course freaking Kansas had to lose.
* I realized Ozzy Osbourne f*cking rules. I love that show.
