Hello, NEWMAN.
Yes, a couple of good matches yesterday. Your son looked good in net. I think both Florida teams weren't on their best games. Home field advantage really helped, maybe both Texas teams. Certainly, Laredo looked sharp and not at all out of their element in a fellow border city. (The fans they brought didn't hurt either.)
I was a little surprised that both Cocoa and CenFla looked so "English" -- whip the ball downfield and send it in from the wings. Look for set play opportunities and capitalize with sheer height -- which they both had.
Both the Heat and the Patriots won because the Floridians weren't ready for teams that create from midfield. Jesús Sanchez was a bull in the middle. Cocoa just could not throw him off the ball. Same for Miguel Larrosa for El Paso, but because no one could catch up to him.
Should be a great final!
