I was looking at the schedule and wondered when the Southern Derby games will take place. It looks as though all the Charlotte/Charleston/Atlanta games will have home and home ties over two days. eg,

April 26: Atlanta @ Charlotte
April 27: Charlotte @ Atlanta
May 31: Charlotte @ Charleston
June 1: Charleston @ Charlotte
June 7: Charlotte @ Atlanta
June 8: Atlanta @ Charlotte

June 21: Atlanta @ Charleston
June 22: Charleston @ Atlanta
July 26: Atlanta @ Charleston
July 27: Charleston @ Atlanta
Aug 9: Charleston @ Charlotte
Aug 10: Charlotte @ Charleston

The last two meetings of the three teams are in bold becuase I know that you like to choose those games as competetive derby games.

Cheers.

Yes, the last ties are ususally the Derby matches, unless one of the clubs wants to do something different. Like one year, an Atlanta/Charleston match was at a weird time, like on a Wednesday @ 1100 a.m. and they wanted to choose a weekend match for the Derby. I'm sure once everyone has had a chance to look over the schedules, the emails will start.

You guys at Richmond ought to see if you can get something going with the Hampton Roads folks. Wasn't there previously a James River Cup or something between you two?

I have already inquired into this, I'm waiting for a response. I don't think the James River Cup was a fan organized trophy - but I need to check because it was 'before my time'.

Using the last two home and home has worked in the past. These dates seem reasonable to me. What do yall think?

June 7: Charlotte @ Atlanta
June 8: Atlanta @ Charlotte
July 26: Atlanta @ Charleston
July 27: Charleston @ Atlanta
Aug 9: Charleston @ Charlotte
Aug 10: Charlotte @ Charleston
