Looks like our boy Bags has signed with wilmington. What's up with that? I would've thought the front office would have wanted an experienced forward on the field and a gentleman off it. I for one would like to ride Bags' coattail with the ladies as well. Auggie should offer him more money than wilmington so we can win a championship!

from what I've heard, stamina was always his biggest problem (sorry Miss Rose). He was 10 years younger than Paul Conway, but could never keep up with him for the whole game.

Could it be possible that Wilmington feeds the players Red Bull or some other energy drink to improve stamina issues? If so the batts should do the same.

I think I remember some bad blood between Bags and Ramsey. Maybe some of that spilled over to Auggie and the front office. His experience and drive would be an asset to the team IMO. I sure hope they do not go down the road of a bunch of snot nose kids filling out the roster again.

Yes, we do feed the boys Red Bull...Well that is except for our English players which are given Boddington's before matches! And we are glad to have Bagley back. Wish we had been invited to Challeng Cup bit I get the feeling that it we are to small of a fish (pun intended) to be invited these days. Best of luck to the Battery this season!

[/b]was kind of hoping you guys would be too. I think that it might have something to do with trying to get the team ready by then. I know it is right at the start of the Battery preseason and I think you guys normally don't start preseason for anothre couple weeks. Any chance some of you might make it down? We promise beer and food before the match and who knows what after the match, after tailgateing and two matches that might be all I can muster.

See what happens when i get a full time job and no time on the computer?!! I completely missed this conversation & was never informed about it on the side!!! As for Bagley's stamina - no comment. But he did say he was very happy @ Wilmington and I'm sure he was happy to actually get some playing time which was lacking when he was here. Funny how he was expected to score and show his stamina & try to prove himself while sitting on the bench!! Anyhoo...seems like a road trip will be in order for me this year....
