I've created a division for anyone interested in the Major Fantasy League Soccer (MFLS).

The division is the Utah Soccer League and the password is usl.

Somethink it's fun and others think it's a waste of time. I come down in the middle: it's a fun waste of time.

Last year was great! Count me in too.

So the way I understand it from reading the rules, my choices and standings would affect not only my own "team" but the larger Utah Soccer League?
I think I'll play, but I'm not sure you'll want me associated with you... I'll choose players because I like their names more than for what I know about them...

A couple years ago when Yahoo.com ran an MLS Fantasy league, we were able to quantify that following the league closely & knowing anything about the players is a real detriment to running a successful fantasy league team.

I would suggest choosing your lineup based on how cute the players are. It seems to work as well as anything.

Thanks for inspiring me. I might just take that advice. Of course that would require me to spend hours online looking up photos of soccer players. I wonder what my husband will say... hmmmm...

Stay away from Galaxy players.

The only Galaxy player that could score in certain establishments in rural Nevada also picks up red cards several times a year.

OK, despite knowing almost nothing about US soccer, I have signed up. I am currently in 3rd place (on alphabetic order) and expect that this will be my best placement of the year.

Ex-Gaucho Hercules Gomes and Ricky Lewis, aka I-29, can sit on the bench and not take up too much salary.

Even Galaxy players have a use!
