Press conference on Thursday.

He's had a storybook career for the Rhinos. In 1996, he scored three goals against Montreal in the first ever game at Frontier Field, with the winner coming in the last minute. He finished second in league scoring to Wolde Harris. In 1997 he led the league in scoring and was named league MVP.In 1998, he was injured off and on, but seemed to grow out of favor with management. He ran his own camps and the Rhinos were not too happy with that. He missed the A-League final that year because he was getting married. He couldn't change the date (for a second time). He and coach Ercoli did not seem to get along. Ercoli was more into the team defense style of play and Miller was more of an individual type player. In 1999, he didn't play much, but did come off the bench in the Open Cup final to score the winning goal. In 2000, he did not play in the A-League, having played indoor in Buffalo. In 2001, he signed with Hershey in August and scored a few goals. In 2002, he has not played.

Apparently, the Rhinos have admitted that their style of play and been somewhat boring. No doubt, this move was to spark fan interest again which has diminshed somewhat.

It will be interesting to see if Ercoli and Miller can get along.
